Madrona Teacher Invited to D.C. to speak at educational briefing
Ms. Rachelle Moore, mentor with the Seattle Teacher Residency, and her former resident, Ms. Kristen Le, were invited to speak as panelists at a briefing on Capitol Hill hosted by Senator Patty Murray last week. Moore and Le shared their residency experiences at the briefing, while also speaking on behalf of the Coalition for Teaching Quality which advocates for "profession ready" educators. At the briefing, the Coalition released a roadmap document for "Profession Ready Teachers and Principals for Each and Every Child."
