    Inner City Outings

Inner City Outings is a community outreach program that provides Madrona 3rd-8th graders with field trips to the outdoors. One Saturday a month, a dedicated group of volunteers along with Madrona staff members bring students on an all-day excursion to the wilderness. In past years, the students have gone hiking, canoeing, sledding and even camping. The program is free of charge and provides lunch and the necessary outdoor gear. Teachers will be sending the information home starting in September.

    Big Brothers/Big Sisters

Big Brothers/Big Sisters provide children with adult role models who build lasting, nurturing relationships with them through friendship, guidance and mentoring. The students meet with their big brother/sister once a week during the school day and read together, do art projects, or just spend time together. Please contact Rachel Madding at 252-3118 if you would like your child to have a Big Brother/Sister.
